The day begins at 5:00am when students are woken up by dormitory leaders and get ready for the day.
At 6:15am the morning prayers begin and end at 7:00am followed by the morning breakfast that takes ten minutes.
School environment cleanness (duties) is done by all students for ten minutes and the students’ morning assembly begins right after they complete their morning duties.
They get the morning announcements from teachers on duty and the prefect of the week about what is to be done and observed for that particular day and once all the announcements are already told the students are then allowed to disperse to their classes for morning lessons that begin at 7:45am.
The students stay in class to 10:45am, at this time everyone goes for tea break and gets to relax for about fifteen minutes before going back to class.
Classes proceed to afternoon after a range of three hours and everyone heads for lunch and refresh up for thirty minutes before classes resume at 2:30pm and end at 4:15pm
Extra curriculum activities follow from 4:30pm and proceed to 6:00pm, the time when students take supper.
Students go for evening preparations right after supper at 7:00pm and end at 10:00am and so the students come to an end of a wonderful day in St. Mary’s Mazinde Juu Girls’ Secondary School.
