OUR LITTLE HEAVEN IN MAZINDE

St Mary’s mazinde juu is rested upon a solid foundation in religious beliefs. In every step we make the footsteps that follows leaves God`s mark. This is why our beautiful school is blessed with success in both academic and disciplinary matters. Our school is under catholic diocese of Tanga.  It is managed by father Damian Milliken with tremendous guidance from the sisters of THE CONGREGATION OF OUR LADY OF USAMBARA (C.O.L.U).

We have a school prayer of which we pray often. Many spiritual gathering are being conducted in our school. On Saturday evening various religious groups from different denominations [TYCS, UKWATA and BAKWATA] meet and pray.  Morning masses are conducted at our school. Every once in a term every religious group conducts a celebration to welcome a class and to say goodbye to another. There is a joint Mass that is conducted once in a year where Catholics students meet [TYCS] and celebrate together. This includes a company of other schools in MILIMANI zone.

Adoration is always conducted in the spiritual seminars. Adoration is conducted in such a way that students despite the religion meet and pray to Almighty God. All religious celebrations including EASTER and IDDI are celebrated by each and every student. Holy rosary, morning and evening prayers are part of the school timetable and are well obeyed by all.

 Lastly our school has introduced the school choir which makes the masses beautiful and active than ever before. We thank God for blessing our school in a million ways spiritually. We pray that God continues giving us the courage to stand before the truth AMEN.
